Lisa Jackson-Tallman

Lisa Kay Jackson-Tallman, age 48 of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, died Tuesday December 13, 2011 at the Woodwinds Hospital following a courageous battle with cancer.

Lisa was born October 12, 1963 in Louisville, Kentucky and early in her life moved to Los Angeles where she spent most of her life. She lived in Pennsylvania prior to moving to Cottage Grove in 1993 and was an employee at Sonic Innovations as a customer service and sales representative. She thoroughly enjoyed her job and made friends easily. Lisa loved her children and was extremely proud of them. "Mai", as they would call her, celebrated with her children in their accomplishments and encouraged them with her strong humble example. She always put her family first.

Lisa is survived by her children, Christina Genly Marroquin and Matthew Craig Jackson; brother, Mike Tallman; sisters, Susan Tallman-Von Ree, Karen Tallman and Janice Tallman. She is preceded in death by her mother Mary Eleanor (Judge) Tallman.

A memorial service will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday, December 17, 2011 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676-80th Street South, Cottage Grove, with visitation one hour prior.
