Lillian Anacker, age 89, of Woodbury Health Care Center on Thursday afternoon March 6, 2008 at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul.
Lillian Ann was born March 20, 1918 in Saint Paul, Minnesota to Henry and Rose (Kester) Meyers. She was raised in West Saint Paul. In August of 1940 she was united in marriage to Arthur John Anacker. She will be remembered as a loving mother and wife. She enjoyed art, drawing, flower gardening and birdwatching.
Lillian was preceded in death by her husband Arthur; son Arthur; and daughter Barbara Rose.
She is survived by her son Henry (Donna)of Saint Paul; daughter Janet (Jim) Tomai of Wyoming, Minnesota; grandchildren Julie Hill, of Rice Lake, Wisconsin, Barbra (Jared) Weaver of Hugo, John (Amanda) Darwin, Jamie & J.D. Stipe, all of Wyoming, Minnesota; great-grandchildren J.R., Joe, John, Jenna, Landin, Lilly, Nate and Luke.
Memorial Service 1 PM Tuesday March 11 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875). Inurnment Elmhurst Cemetery. Visitation 12-1 PM Tues. at funeral home. Remembrance Service 10 AM Monday March 10 in the skyway at Woodbury Health Care Center.
