LeRoy Pilarski
June 8, 1931 — February 20, 2015
LeRoy L. Pilarski, age 83 of Cottage Grove, passed away Feb. 20, 2015 after a long illness.
There will be a gathering for friends and family on Feb. 28, 2015 from 12 Noon-3 pm at Tinucci's, 396 –21st Street, Newport. Private interment to be held at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. Family would like to extend their deep gratitude to the staff at Regions Hospital for their care and compassion.
He was born June 8, 1931 in Silver Lake and served in the US Marine Corp. LeRoy was a long time dog obedience instructor in the Twin Cities.
LeRoy was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Sophie.
He is survived by his wife of 51 years, Fran; children, Debra and Joellyn; 2 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; siblings, Phyllis, Gene and Duane (Carol).
