Leonard Leo Rumpca was born August 9, 1941 in Waubay, South Dakota the son of John& Helen (Block) Rumpca. He was raised in South Dakota. On August 22, 1964 he was united in marriage with Kathryn Ann Lardy. Leonard enjoyed fishing, gardening, camping and spending time at the cabin with family. He liked watching and feeding birds. He loved watching sunsets and sunrises. Leonard will be remembered as a man with a great work ethic.
He is the beloved husband of Kathryn; loving father of Jason (Cheri), Eric (Tamara), Rhonda (Tracy) Mann, Travis (Cindy); grandpa of Luke, Zachary, Mary, Marcus, Whitney, Kyleigh, Tyler, Ashley, Katelyn, Taylor, Cole; brother of Joseph (Lily), John (Adeline), Thomas (Rita), Berneice Messmer, Raymond (Carol).
Leonard was preceded in death by his brother Adam (Leona); sisters Lillian (Adam) Gaikowski, Esther Lorecki; stepbrother Richard Flattum.
Visitation 4-7 PM Sunday 2/9 with 7 PM Rosary Service at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 920 Holley, St. Paul Park. Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM Monday 2/10 at St Thomas Aquinas wit hvisitation 10-11 AM. Private burial.
