Leonard Froyum

Leonard M. Froyum, age 82, 50 year resident of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 1, 2016.

Preceded in death by wife, Sue (nee Hadrich); parents, Melvin and Grace (nee Lynch). Survived by longtime companion, Martha J. Collins; children, Joanna Froyum (Brad Richard), Tom (Barb), and Sue (Ron) Mausolf; grandchildren, Sara (Allen) Martinson, Travis Froyum, Jessica (Tom) Schmitz, Cory (Laura) Froyum, Ronny and Matt Mausolf; six great grandchildren; sister, Punky (Charlie) Voss; niece; nephews; and childhood friend, Bill Setzer.

Len proudly served in the US Army and retired from West Publishing after 36 years, where he made many friends, keeping in touch all these years. His neighbors are all wonderful, lifelong friends, and traveling buddies that he cherished. He loved the yearly Labor Day pig roasts with them all and enjoyed the "occasional" prank that they played on one another. Lenny spent his retired winters in Mississippi, making many dear friends whom he cherished and they will miss him greatly.

Visitation 9:30 AM with Memorial Service beginning at 11:30 AM, Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove, MN, 55016. Interment to follow at Fort Snelling National Cemetery.
