Leona Perkins

Leona May Perkins, of Woodbury, formerly of Cottage Grove was born to Arthur and Eva. She passed away on December 7, 2022 at the age of 95.

Leona married Don Perkins in January of 1946 in St. Mathews Church in Cottage Grove.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Don; siblings, Ralph Brown, Lucy Spicer, and Beverly Gross; and great-grandson, Wyatt.

Leona is survived by her three children, Donna Lee (Gail) Duerr, John (Donna) Perkins, and Jerry Perkins; grandchildren, Christopher (Gina) Duerr, Jason (Adrian) Duerr, Ashley Perkins, and Kacie (Jack) Youso; great-grandchildren, Stephen, Hanna (Will), Emmett, Gunnar, and Margo; great great-grandson, Hunter; and other family and friends.

Memorial service will be Friday, December 16 at 11am with visitation from 9-11am at Cottage Grove United Church of Christ, 7008 Lamar Ave S, Cottage Grove. Interment at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
