Age 88, of St. Paul Park passed away peacefully with her family by her side on Sunday evening November 13, 2005 at United Hospital in Saint Paul.
Leona Ann was born August 23, 1917 in Bonne Terre, Missouri the daughter of Michael & Anna (Bachesta) Bales. She was raised in East St. Louis. On September 11, 1937 she married John Keller.
Leona enjoyed sewing and needlework. She was an excellent cook who loves spending time with her children and grandchildren.
Preceded in death by husband John; children Johnny, Roberta, Dolores, Karl and baby; sister Dolores Ziemba.
Beloved mother of Fred of St. Paul Park, Paul of Forest Lake, Greg (Pat) of St. Paul Park, Kevin (Jacque) of Eat Bethel; grandchildren Mike (Ann) Callies of Shakopee, Heidi (Matt) West of Loveland, Colorado, Ranae (Tom) Forsyth of Dubuque, Iowa , Michaela & Meredith Keller both of East Bethel; 6 great-grandchildren; sisters Emily Coleman of Granite City, Illinois and Betty Lou Miller of St. Louis, Missouri.
Funeral Service 11 AM Friday November 18 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 1201 PORTLAND Ave. St. Paul Park. Interment St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Thursday and 10-11 AM Friday at funeral home.
