Leon Langenfeld, age 57, of Cottage Grove passed suddenly on Tuesday, June 16, 2020 at his home. Survived by loving wife, Lynn; son, Alex (Nina) and daughter, Sam (Glen); granddaughter, Aurelia; siblings, Lisa Huebsch, Kurt, and Ann (Michael) Dysart; as well as many nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by parents, Aloys and Nora; parents in law, Carl (Norma) Manke; brothers and sisters in law, Lori, Tami, Paul, and Al. Leon was the lead pressman at Graphic Design, Inc. in Hastings, Minnesota. He was famous for his smoked salmon served at Muddy Waters in Prescott, Wisconsin. He was an avid golfer and a fabulous cook who will be deeply missed by the friends he made every place he went. Leon was a truly wonderful, hardworking, and reliable person who, above all else, adored his wife, his children, and his granddaughter. Services are pending at this time due to COVID-19 and will be updated as more information becomes available.
