Lee Hanner

Lee was a life long resident of St Paul Park, MN, born on May 10, 1924 to Frank and Helena Hanner. Lee served the US Army Infantry in the South Pacific, during WW II. Lee retired as an engineer on the Rock Island and the Northwestern Rail Roads. He was a Lifetime Member of VFW Post 4450. Lee is preceded in death by his parents; Sisters Delilah, Lillian Marpe, Ella Doneshefsky, Dorothy Hammerschmidt; brothers George and Percy; grandson Daniel Dworshak. He is survived by his wife, Dorothy of 65 years; daughters Marge (Richard) Dworshak, Georgia (Dennis) Woltjer; son Nick (Debbie) ; Grandchildren Shannon Hanner, Laura Fitzsimmons, Tim (Linda) Woltjer, Marilee (Mark) Erickson, Stephanie ( Dave) Gaddis, Toni (Adam) Jensen, Matt (Rachel) Woltjer, Joe Mertes, Chrisy Shosts, Laura Mertes, Kevin Dworshak, Jeff (Daina) Zylka, Jenny Zylka, Michelle Zylka, Teresa Roering, Nicole Hanner; Great-Grandchildren Travis, Jack Katie and Tyler Fitzsimmons, Anna and Heidi Erickson, Tim and Cody Gaddis, Taylor and Alexius Mahlum, Austyn, Tristen, Alecyea and Lucas Zylka; Sister, Shirley Birkholm; Brothers, Bill and Frank (Jeanne); many nieces, nephews and friends. Bud will always be remembered for the love held in his heart for his family and friends, and for the joy he gave in the stories he told and the laughter which was always in abundance whenever they gathered with him.
