Larry Duane Guy was born November 28, 1942 in Fairmont, Minnesota the son of Harold & LaVonne (Johnson) Guy. He was raised in Fairmont and graduated from Fairmont High School in 1959. On May 5, 1961 he married Judith Tilbury at St. Lukes Catholic Church in Sherburn, Minnesota. Family was important to Bud. His interests included woodworking, boating, his Harley, his dog Buddy. He truly enjoyed his friends.
Beloved husband of Judy; loving father of Jeff (Sandy) of Cottage Grove, Mary Stalberger (John VanderBeek) of Paynesville, Tim (LaVonne) of Cottage Grove, Nancy (Steve) Jensen of Fairmont; grandfather of Jessica, Zack, Guy, Molly (Lucas), Bethany (Chris), Joslyn (Brandon), Justin, Brandon, Tyson, Abby, Weston, Gavin; great-grandchildren Talen, Tate, Baby B; sister-in-law Diane Platzer; nephews Doug, Duff, Dale, Don; dog Buddy.
Preceded in death by son Daniel Harold.
Mass of Christian Burial 11 AM with visitation 10-11 AM Monday August 27 at ST. RITAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 8694 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove. Inurnment Cottage Grove Cemetery.
