Died suddenly on Tuesday morning June 12, 2012 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.
Larry Ronald Anderson was born October 26, 1939 in Braham, Minnesota the son of Otto & Agnes (Danielson) Anderson. In 1948 his family moved to Minneapolis. Larry graduated from South High School in 1958. In 1961 he was united in marriage with Marlys Hanson at Rush River Lutheran Church in River Falls. Larry was a Twins, Vikings and Gopher Sportsfan. He played hockey, and enjoyed bowling, yardwork, camping and traveling.
He is the beloved husband of Marlys; loving father of Lori (Dan) O'Donovan, Julie (Michael) Rist, Tracy (Brian) Klinga; papa of Megan, Molly, Brian, Cassie, Janie, Maria, Greta; brother of Harold (Carolyn) of Fort Myers, FL; Alden (Karon) of Arizona City, AZ; Phyllis DeRoche of Irvine, CA.
Larry was preceded in death by parents Otto & Agnes, sisters Jean Guthrie, Eileen Martin; brother Earl.
Visitation 10am-12pm Friday at church. Funeral service 12 Noon Friday at NEWPORT LUTHERAN CHURCH 900 15th St. Newport. Interment Martell Lutheran Cemetery, Spring Valley, WI. Memorials preferred.
