Kim Marie Ritenour (nee Sanchez)

Age 44, of Cottage Grove

Passed away peacefully on February 15, 2014. Survived by husband, Michael; children, Jeremy Harer, Nicholas Harer, Joshua, Rachel, and Thomas; granddaughter, Stella Rose Schumacher; mother, Mary Jo Sanchez (nee Kane); brother, Michael (Jinny) Sanchez; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and friends. Preceded in death by father, Nicholas Sanchez and niece, Nichole Marie Reyes.

Kim loved life and will be remembered by her smile; it would light up the biggest of rooms and always warmed your heart. She enjoyed activities like swimming, fishing, and anything outdoors. She also enjoyed music and animals; especially her cat and kittens. She was also a natural caretaker; thus was a nurse (CMA) for eighteen years. Above all, Kim was passionate about her sons. She cherished family gatherings, where she could spend time with her aunts, uncles, nieces, and nephews. She will be deeply missed, but her memory will live on.

Visitation 4-8 PM, Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove with visitation continuing one hour prior to the mass at church. Mass of Christian Burial 10 AM, Friday, February 21, 2014 at Our Lady of Guadalupe, 401 Concord St., St. Paul. Interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
