Passed away peacefully February 7, 2016 surrounded by his loving family.
Ken was born November 22, 1919 in Superior, Wisconsin to Berndt & Ada (Johnson) Talcott.
He married the love of his life Alice Jansen on June 26, 1948 in Rochester, Minnesota. They moved to Superior for 10 years and then to Cottage Grove where they raised their family.
He worked for the American Can Company for 20 years and was a machinist from the age of 20 until his retirement in 1981.
Ken was passionate about his lake home in Northern, Wisconsin, he took pride in his "Northern Retreat" and cherished all the memories he had there.
He will be missed by his loving wife of 67 years Alice; children Jim (Rose), Jerry (Pam), Jane (Greg) Sicheneder; grandchildren Jennifer, Brian(Rachel), Michael, Garett, Maren, Nicholas Grams, Angie (Fran) McLellan, Theresa (Phil) Atwood; great grandchildren Emily, Kayla, Parker, Lincoln, Katelyn, Devyn, Brandon, Bryce, Bailey, Alexis, Sierra; great great grandchildren Alex, Ivan, Aiden, Skylar; brother Raymond (Bonnie). Preceded in death by parents; brothers Melvin, Wilbert. Mass of Christian Burial 11am Thursday at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church (920 Holly Ave. St. Paul Park) with visitation 5-8 Wednesday at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th St. S. Cottage Grove), prayer service 7pm and one hour prior to mass at church. A special thank you to neighbors, friends and HealthEast Hospice for their loving care.
