Kay Diane Kocemba (nee Halunen), age 72, of Cottage Grove. Loving and beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother, and grandmother. Passed away peacefully on Saturday, June 17, 2017 after a long struggle with dementia.
Preceded in death by son, Michael. Survived by loving husband of 52 years, Darryl; sons, Steven (Tracy) and David (Amber); grandchildren, Elena, Carmen, and Emmett; sister, Judy Griffith; and cousin, Nancie Ligon.
Kay worked at Good Samaritan in W. St. Paul. She enjoyed walking, flowers, baking with her grandkids and spending time with her sister, Judy eating out and shopping.
Memorial Service 11 AM with visitation beginning at 10:30 AM, Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Shepherd of the Valley Lutheran Church, 12650 Johnny Cake Ridge Rd., Apple Valley, MN, 55124. Interment will be at Cottage Grove Cemetery.
