Kathryn "Katy" Jesse

Kathryn “Katy” Jesse, age 97, of St. Paul Park, passed away peacefully on January 1, 2020.

Katy was born in Mobridge, SD and married Lester on November 28, 1945 in Mobridge. The couple moved to St. Paul Park in May 1946.

She worked at St. Paul Fire and Marine Insurance Company from 1959-1969 and returned to St. Paul Companies in 1978 until retiring in 1982.

Katy enjoyed traveling to California and Ireland. She liked to read, do word search puzzles, watch the Twins games, trips to the casino and spending time with her family.

Thank you to Southview Acres Nursing Home and HealthEast Hospice for taking care of our mom/grandma. Thank you for the friendship from her friends at the nursing home.

She is preceded in death by, her husband, Lester; brothers, Gene, Mike and Pat; sister, Marion.

Katy is survived by her children, Tom, Jim (Sandie), Carol (Todd) Hovde, Mary, Tim (Brenda); grandchildren, Jay (Ammie), Stacie (Mitch), Katie (Tony), Megan, Brandi (CJ), Heather (Nate); great-grandchildren, Jason, Sarah (Jake), Jordan, Isaiah, Mia, Sam, Liz (Karey), Mitchell, Zach, Regan (Ryan), Alex, Joey, Henry, Braydin, Carsten, and Lexi; great-great-grandchildren, Ryder, Nora, Wyatt and Mikayla.

Memorial Service will be 11 AM, Wednesday, January 8, 2020 at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 920 Holley Ave, St Paul Park, MN 55071 with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Interment will be at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.
