Kathleen was born April 23, 1932 in Duluth the daughter of Harry & Margaret (Smith) Comfort. She was raised in Duluth and married Alfred Havorsen on October 19, 1957. She enjoyed watching the birds and had a love for flowers.
Preceded in death by granddaughter Sarah; parents Harry & Margaret Comfort; two brothers; and two sisters.
Survived by loving husband Alfred; children Bonnie (Martin) Zappa, Robin (John) Reller, Allan; grandchildren Melissa, Ryan, Daniel, Joseph, Nicole, and Samantha; 2 great-grandchildren Matthew and Alexis; many nieces & nephews.
Funeral Service 10 AM Saturday at NEWPORT UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 1596 11TH Ave. Newport. Interment Sunrise Cemetery, Duluth. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. (651-459-2875) and 10-11 AM Saturday at church.
