Katherine Louisiana

Age 89, Mother of Shirley Louisiana Erickson of Cottage Grove, MN and Tom Louisiana of American Fork, UT, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, August 23, 2006. Katherine is the daughter of Christopher and Amanda Nelson Dougherty who preceded her in death. Also preceding Katherine were two infant siblings, Paul and Pauline, two brothers, John and Clarence Dougherty, one sister, Edith Irene Tell, two grandsons, Steven Jennrich and Michael Louisiana, and a great-grandaughter, Hailey Louisiana. Katherine grew up in Litchfield, MN but spent the majority of her years in St. Paul. She worked 25 years as an Environmental Service Aide at United Hospital. Dancing and 'Bingo' were her loves. In addition to her two children, she leaves eleven grandchildren, nineteen great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.
