Karren Faye Sullivan, age 82, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully January 2nd, 2024 surrounded by family.
Visitation will be held Friday, January 12th at 3pm at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th Street South, Cottage Grove) with a Celebration of Life to follow at 4pm. Everyone is invited to join the family for a time of food and fellowship immediately following the service in our community room.

Karren Faye Cadigan was born February 9th, 1941 in Montello, Wisconsin to Byron Cadigan and Genevieve Lawson. She grew up on a farm where she frequently returned to visit.
Karren moved to St. Paul, Minnesota where she worked as a nanny. She met her husband, Robert Sullivan, at a YMCA dance event. They were married at Edgcumbe Presbyterian Church on April 30th, 1960. They lived briefly on Grand Avenue in St. Paul before settling down in Cottage Grove.
Karren worked as a homemaker, raising her three sons. During the school year, she worked various jobs including Fritz Candy, in school cafeterias around Woodbury and Cottage Grove and sewing heart valves at Medtronic.
Karren loved animals and was very dedicated to her pets. She found joy in sewing, gardening, thrifting, crafts, and books. She was a bird enthusiast and had a unique gift at bringing any and all sorts of birds into her yard.
Karren is preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Robert. Survived by her sons, Kevin (Vicky Phillips), Dan (Michelle) and Rick (Vicki); grandchildren, Kaitlin, Jack, Jacob (Kyler), Megan, and Tom; great grandson, Hudson; and other loving family and friends.
