Karl Hansen

Karl Robert Hansen, age 67, of Cottage Grove was born and raised in Brooklyn, NY, passed away surrounded by his family on June 21, 2012.

Preceded in death by his parents, Karl and Anna. Survived by wife of 45 years, Sherry; children, Michael (Torey Strand), Donald (Robyn), Nicole (Robb) Manary, Kelly, Katherine (Michael) Garvey, and Jeremy Virkus; grandchildren, Elizabeth (Derrick) Sikkink, Mathew, Alexis, Taylor, Ben, Kalan, Gabe, Jordan, Jaymie, Jessica, Rachel, Reagan, Aiden, Ashley, and Ruby; great grandchildren, Evan and Daniel; sisters, Linda Loudon and Virginia (Ray) Swenson; as well as numerous other family and friends.

Karl was a man of immense integrity, honesty, and kindness. He will be greatly missed and forever loved.

Visitation will be 5-8 p.m., Tuesday, June 26, 2012. at KOK Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove. MASS OF CHRISTIAN BURIAL will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 27, 2012, at St. Thomas Aquinas Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior at church.
