Judith Fox

Judy Fox passed away on Saturday, March 21st at the age of 68 of heart failure due to Primary Pulmonary Hypertension. She was born in Minneapolis, Minnesota on August 11, 1946 to Jeffrie and June (Salisbury) Guertin.

A memorial service will be 11:00 am, Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 - 80th Street S., Cottage Grove, with visitation starting at 9:30 am. A private interment will be held at a later date at Ft. Snelling National Cemetery. In lieu of memorials, please donate to PHA in her memory.

She was a wonderful, kind, loving, selfless, giving and nurturing person who did daycare out of her home for 25 years up until she was diagnosed with the disease. She was loved by many and we will all miss her positive attitude and can only hope to live by her example.

She was preceded in death by parents Jeffrie and June Guertin. She is survived by her loving husband, Lawrence, sons, Scott and Robert, sisters, Sharon (Dave) and Bonnie (Lee Roy), many brother-in-laws and sister-in-laws, nieces and nephews, including Ted, Jill, Bree and Drew, and the many children who greatly benefited from her care. A special thank you to Kim, Rachel and Lindsay Kothe whom she loved very much.

We would like to thank Mayo Clinic for their expert care and especially Michael McGoon, who was her cardiologist for all 17 years she had the disease. We would also like to thank the Twin Cities PHA Support Group for all of their love and support.
