Joyce Louise Branchaud died Saturday afternoon November 19, 2005 at her home in Cottage Grove.
Joyce was born October 8, 1927 in Florence, South Dakota the daughter of Frank & Clara (Beyer) Sievert. Joyce graduated from Florence High School. On June 22, 1949 she married Robert Branchaud at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Aberdeen, South Dakota. She enjoyed sewing, needlework, crossword puzzles and word games. Other hobbies included playing cards and reading fiction. Joyce volunteered her time at church and the South Washington County Senior Center, where she served on the advisory committee.
Survived by husband Robert; daughters Kathryn Bayerl of Tucson, Arizona, Carol (Bruce) Fox of Virginia, Minnesota; Grandchildren Scott Bayerl, Brenda (Steve) Bethel, David & Robert Fox; great-grandchildren Nolan & Calvin Bethel; 1 brother Leon Sievert of Antelope, california; 3 sisters Winnifred Gunderson of Watertown, South Dakota, Lois Castle of Brainerd, and Elaine (Ingvold) Werp of Floodwood, Minnesota.
Preceded in death by sisters Murlee Lawson, Ione Walkins, Phyllis Weiss, Mildred, 1 brother Donald.
