Joy Simonds

Joy Celene Simonds (nee Rovie) was born on April 5, 1952 and passed peacefully at the age of 69 on Tuesday, March 1, 2022, while surrounded by her loving family.

Preceded in death by her beloved husband, Dennis; parents, Sally and Ken; brother, Mark; and her close friends, Pennie and Mark Ramsay. Survived by son, Adam and daughter, Betheny (David) Amyotte; granddaughter, Kara; brother, Tod Rovie; and other extended family and friends.

Joy had a long struggle with illness and medical issues that culminated in a heart attack on Tuesday, February 22, 2022. She received truly excellent care and survived the heart attack, but ultimately the shock of it was too much to overcome, and she passed away after a week.
