Joseph Krenik

JOSEPH F. KRENIK, a longtime resident of St. Paul Park passed away April 28, 2016, surrounded by his loving family.

Visitation on May 2, 2016 from 4-8, with Rosary @ 7:30 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave, St. Paul Park. Mass of Christian Burial at 10am on May 3, 2016 at St. Anne's Traditional Catholic Church, 2445 County Road E., White Bear Lake, MN. Internment at St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery, St. Paul Park.

Joseph was born in Veseli, Minnesota on February 3, 1934 and was raised in Montgomery, MN where he graduated from Montgomery High School in 1953. He was employed 30 years as a Technical Illustrator for 3M and a member of the Czechoslovak Genealogical Society International. Joseph received numerous accolades, some from the Czech Republic, for his genealogical research and books. A very special thank you to Patti and Terry of HealthEast Hospice.

Joseph is survived by his wife of 56 years, Marilyn (McCandless); daughters, Michelle (Gary) Winter of Isanti, Cheryl (John) Mosner, Christine (Gary) Bolduan; granddaughter, Amanda Manning all of Cottage Grove: grandson: Kyle (Thida) Bolduan; honorary great grandson, Damian of Shakopee; sister, Mary Jo Kubes of New Prague and many nephews and nieces. He is preceded in death by parents, Jerry and Mary (Trnka) Krenik.
