Joseph Burth

Joseph A. Burth, age 30, of Woodbury, passed away on October 1, 2015

Funeral service will be 2 pm, Wednesday, October 7, 2015 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 – 80th Street S., Cottage Grove with visitation starting at 12 noon until the time of service. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.

Joseph Anthony Burth was born October 1, 1985 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Ronald and Georgette (Yekaldo) Burth. From an early age, he had a passion for fixing things and found that his greatest enjoyment was in helping others. Joe was married to Danielle Prokop on August 27, 2011 in Cottage Grove. Known as "Big Joe" to many, he enjoyed many things, but being a wonderful father gave him the most enjoyment.

He is survived by his wife, Danielle; children, Emily and Vinny; parents, Georgette (David) Lopez, Ronald (Shannon) Burth; sister, Cassie (Jason)Leyde; brothers, Jacob and Dominic Lopez and Kyle Burth; grandfather, Frank Yekaldo; mother and father-in-law, James (Carol) Prokop; sister-in-law, Holly (Brian) Evans and their children, Peyton and Elijah as well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and relatives.
