Johnny Calvin Robinzine Jr.

Johnny Robinzine Jr. age 74 of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on June 13, 2024. 

Memorial Service will be at 2 PM on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at Kok Funeral Home 7676 80th St. S.; Cottage Grove, MN with a one hour visitation from 1-2 PM. All are invited to a luncheon following the service.

Johnny was born on August 2, 1949 to Johnny Sr. and Annie (Taylor) Robinzine in Marks, Mississippi where he grew up. He was united in marriage to the love of his life Linda Dubovoy on August 11, 1995. Johnny began working as a pump mechanic at Flint Hills Refinery in 1981 until his retirement in 2011. He and Linda have made their home in Cottage Grove since 1998. One of Johnny's favorite things was cars, from going to car exhibits, watching car shows to fixing them up. It was a favorite thing for him to do in his spare time. He also loved working in his flower gardens, exercising, their variety of pets and watching movies together as a family. He especially enjoyed playing with the children over the years. Johnny's kind, tenderhearted spirit will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Johnny is survived by his wife Linda; children Annette Davis and Brandi Robinzine; siblings Mary "Cookie" (Eddie) Miller and Carey Robinzine; sisters-in-law Della Robinzine and Seora Robinzine; mother-in-law Cecilia Dubovoy; brother-in-law Clay (Angie) Dubovoy and many nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents Johnny Sr. and Annie Robinzine; brothers Carl and Larry Robinzine; father-in-law Ralph Dubovoy and sister-in-law Yvonne Armgost.
