John W. Voelker, age 77 of Cottage Grove, passed away unexpectedly on March 1, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Cindy; children Bill (Veronica), Emily (Dave) Mogren, Marcy (Paul) Kottas; his beloved grandchildren, Johnny, Charlie, Billy, Anna, Nikos and Caroline as well as brother Raymond (Terry) as well as extended family and many dear friends.  He is preceded in death by his parents, Bill and Marcella Voelker.

Visitation for friends and family will be held on Monday, March 8, 2021 from 10 am to 12 noon at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th Street S., Cottage Grove followed by interment at Riverview Cemetery, St. Paul.  Masks will be REQUIRED while in the funeral home facility.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be directed to the Wounded Warrior Project.

While maintaining social distancing guidelines, we are now able to accommodate gatherings while abiding to a 50% capacity at the facility. The use of face masks by attendees is required at indoor events, and we will continue taking the necessary steps to keep your families safe.
