John passed away peacefully on June 20, 2013 after a brief battle with Rhabdomyosarcoma. John taught special education for 15 years and touched the lives of many students and their families. He was also an avid Green Bay Packers fan. John loved his family deeply and will be greatly missed.
Preceded in death by his father, Randolph; father-in-law, Joseph Krause; brother-in-law, Paul Robinson; sister-in-law, Jackie Krause. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Sharon; daughters, Kerri, and Kim; mother, Dorothy; sisters, Dianne Robinson, Karen (Tim) Peterson; mother-in-law, Marita Krause; brothers-in-law, Bob (Sandy) Krause, and Jerry Krause; many special nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends.
Visitation 5-8 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013, at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove. Mass of Christian Burial 11 a.m., Tuesday, June 25, 2013, at The Church of St. Rita, 8694 80th St. S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior at church. Interment will be at a later date in Lakeside Memorial Park, Waupaca, Wisconsin. Memorials Preferred.
