Joan Thompson

Joan Thompson, age 85 of Norris Square died Thursday afternoon May 1, 2014 at Regions Hospital in Saint Paul.

Joan Margaret was born July 7, 1928 in Minneapolis, the daughter of Dow & Luene Starkey. She graduated from Willmar High School in 1946. On March 19, 1949 she was united in marriage with Thomas John Thompson in Minneapolis. Joan was involved in the YMCA, her church, and worked at Norwest Bank in S. Paul. She will be remembered as a crafter who enjoyed needlepoint, ceramics, knitting and making lemon meringue pies. She sang in her church choir,

Preceded in death by parents Dow Starkey & Luene Ritchie.
