Joan Marie Desmond

Joan Marie (Mosser) Desmond, born May 18, 1957, age 66, of Cottage Grove, Minnesota, passed away on Sunday, April 28, 2024. Joan is survived by her husband, Steven; children, Nicole and Daniel; her siblings and extended family. She is preceded in death by her parents, John and Beverly.

Joan was born in St. Paul to parents, John and Beverly Mosser. She was the second youngest of four children, siblings Cheryl, Mary, and John. Joan met the love of her life, Steven Desmond, and they were married in September of 1982. She worked in accounting at Robins Kaplan law firm for over 15 years before retiring in 2022. Throughout the years she enjoyed going up to the lake, crafting and sewing, attending church at St. Luke's, and spending time with her friends and family. Joan loved her family and friends with all of her heart, and she will be greatly missed.
 
Funeral Service will be 12 PM with visitation beginning at 11 AM, Monday, May 6, 2024, at St. Luke Lutheran Church, 7000 Hinton Ave S, Cottage Grove, MN 55016. Burial follow at Riverview Cemetery, St. Paul, MN.
