Jerome P. Stoffel was born December 19, 1917 in Vermillion, Minnesota, the daughter of Marcus and Mary Stoffel. He was united in marriage to Dolores Elizabeth Wagner on February 19, 1944 at St. Boniface Catholic Church in Hastings, Minnesota. The couple made their home in Saint Paul Park, where he then worked for 3M. He is a United States WWII Army Veteran and life-long member of the DAV and past Commander of the American Legion.
Jerome P. Stoffel is survived by his beloved wife Dolores; three sons, Tom (Sharon) of Lakeland, Minnesota, Gary of St. Paul, Minnesota, Dave (Diane) of Hastings, Minnesota; three grandchildren, Timm (Roze) of Medine, Minnesota, Todd (Molly) of Eden Prairie, Minnesota, Troy (Jodi) of Cottage Grove, Minnesota ; eight great-grandchildren, Brady, Zachary, Ellie, Samuel, Austin, Jacob, Connor, Emma; three brothers, Norbert of Randolph, Jervis of St. Paul Park, Lewellyn (Bernie) of Vermillion; two sisters, Martha (Paul) Greten of Hastings and Rita (Bob) Zignego of Red Wing.
He is preceded in death by his parents; sister, Mary Catherine Werner; brother, Lawrence.
Mass of Christian Burial 1:30 PM, Thursday December 7, 2006 at ST. THOMAS AQUINAS CATHOLIC CHURCH, 920 Holley Avenue, St. Paul Park. Visitation 4-7 PM Wednesday and 12:30-1:30 PM Thursday AT CHURCH. Interment Church Cemetery.
