Jerome ?Jerry? B. Jeske, 72 of Danbury, Wisconsin, formerly of Cottage Grove, died on Friday, April 25, 2008 at United Hospital in St. Paul following a short illness.
Memorial Mass will be held at 3:00 p.m. Wednesday, May 30, 2008 at St. Rita Catholic Church, with the Reverend Bill Deziel, officiating.
Jerome Jeske was born June 10, 1935 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of John and Judith (Riva) Jeske. He was raised and educated in Centerville and later enlisted in the United States Marine Corp. He had been employed by Ashland Oil at the refinery. Following his retirement in 1992 he moved to Danbury, Wisconsin where he enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing.
Jerry is survived by his sons, James J.of Portsmouth, Virginia, Patrick E. of Oakdale, William J (Sophia), Charles J. (Brenda) & Paul C. (Angela) Jeske all of Cottage Grove, his daughter, Judith A. (Wayne) Aamold of St. Croix Falls, Wisconsin, 12 Grandchildren, 2 Great- Grandchildren, his brothers; John (Pat) Jeska of Lake Elmo, Albert (Jeanne) Jeska and Roger (Rosemary) Jaska all of Hugo, his sister, Joan (Louis) Burth of White Bear Lake.
