Janice Clarice Kreyer

Janice Clarice Kreyer, age 72, of Cottage Grove passed away peacefully on January 24, 2024. 

Mass of Christian Burial will be 10:30 am on Friday, February 2, 2024 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN with visitation one hour prior to the service and a lunch to follow.

Janice was born on June 4, 1951 in St. Paul, Minnesota. She grew up in St. Paul and Cottage Grove graduating from Park Senior High School in 1969. She did clerical work for an insurance company and a bank for some time but recently retired from working at Hennepin County Medical Center as a Patient Services Coordinator in Pediatrics, Newborn ICU, and Birth Center. Janice will be remembered for being a thoughtful and genuine person who had interests in traveling, reading, nature, sewing, decorating, landscaping and gardening. She especially loved her cat, Tori and watching football.  She always believed anything worth doing is worth doing well. 

Janice is preceded in death by her parents, Donald and Florence Kreyer. She will be deeply missed by her surviving sister, Linda Kreyer. They have shared the same birth date over the years with Linda's being five years after Janice but they have also been blessed to share so much of their lives together. 

Memorials are preferred to the American Heart Association and St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
