Janet was born February 12, 1938 in Mendota, the daughter of Joseph & Minnie (Lau) Burns. She was raised on a farm in Mendota. She was united in marriage with Sigurd in Northfield. She was very social and loved her coffee club. Janet also enjoyed sewing, quilting and making afghans.
Beloved wife of Sigurd; loving mother of Lawrence, Barbara Pilot, David "Pete"; 9 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; brother James Burns; many nieces & nephews.
Memorial Service Saturday June 16. Visitation at 11 AM and Service at 12 at ALL SAINTS LUTHERAN CHURCH, 8100 Belden Blvd. Cottage Grove
