Erickson, Jane Anne
Age 67, passed away peacefully on August 19th, 2016. Jane was born on October 10th, 1948 in Little Falls, MN to Angeline (Langer) and Milton (Jiggs) Gilbride. She graduated from Pierz Memorial High School and St Cloud School of Nursing. She married David Erickson on October 31st, 1970 at St Joseph's Church in Pierz. They resided in Cottage Grove where they raised their three children. Jane worked many years at St Joseph Hospital as a cardiac ICU nurse. Jane's creative hobbies included quilting, painting, knitting, cooking, and baking-especially Christmas cookies. Jane was preceded in death by her parents, niece, and nephew. Survived by her husband of 45 years, David, children Marc (Ali) Erickson, grandson Matthew, Angela (Travis) Gjerning, grandchildren Derek and Alexis, and Catherine (Ryan) Kuss. Also survived by siblings Marilyn (Bob) Obermiller, Dennis (Carole) Gilbride, Kevin (Kathy) Gilbride, and many nieces, nephews, and cousins. Visitation will be Sept 7th from 5pm-8pm at Kok Funeral Home, Cottage Grove, with funeral service on Sept 8th at 11am at The Church of St Rita, Cottage Grove, with visitation at 10am. She will be dearly missed by her family and friends.
