James Prokop

James A. Prokop, age 75 of St. Paul Park, passed away of heart failure at home on April 2, 2015, with his loving partner at his side.

Memorial visitation will be Tues., Apr. 7, 2015 from 4-7 pm with a prayer service at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 -80th Street S. Cottage Grove.

Jim was a Navy Veteran and a wonderful partner, father and friend. Jim loved cars, whether he was driving, repairing or restoring them and was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. Jim was famous for his love of coffee, his sense of humor, joke telling and his very long humorous stories.

Jim is preceded in death by his father, Andrew; brothers, Greg and Joe and his first wife Colette and his beloved dog, Ceedo. He is survived by his mother, Josephine; fiancé, Rita Wrich; step-son Bryan (fiancé Deb Johnston) Wrich; siblings, Diane (John), Dennis (Sharon), Marigale and Joan (Kevin) and many relatives and dear friends.
