James "Jim" McCartin, age 85, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on June 17, 2015.
Preceded in death by parents, Patrick and Honora; and sister, Joan Nelson. Survived by beloved wife of 63 years, Sally; daughters, Elizabeth "Betsy" (Scott) Kophamer and Julie Russell; sisters, Marge (Ed) Stanley and Mary Patricia McCartin; numerous nieces, nephews, and four legged companions.
Jim will be remembered for his strong faith, loving heart, and devotion to his family.
Celebration of Life 11 AM, Saturday, June 27, 2015 at All Saints Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd., Cottage Grove, MN with visitation beginning at 10 AM. Inurnment to follow at All Saints Lutheran columbarium.
In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred.
