James G. ?Jim? Kent, 54, of Saint Paul Park, died at his home on Tuesday, April 24, 2007 following a sudden illness.
James Gerald Kent was born January 18, 1953 in Saint Paul, Minnesota, the son of John Gilman and Eleanor C (Mickelsen) Kent Jr.. He graduated from Park High School in 1971 and later enlisted in the United States Army. Jim made his home in Saint Paul Park where he worked as a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service. A number of years ago Jim transferred to the main Post Office in Saint Paul and was currently employed at that location.
He particularly enjoyed the outdoors and spending time fishing.
Jim is survived by his mother, Eleanor Kent of Inver Grove Heights, two sisters; Nancy and her husband, Bob Jorissen of Inver Grove Heights, JoAnne Terrell of Fredericksburg, Virginia, two brothers; David and his wife, Jill Kent of Cottage Grove and John Kent and his friend, Tammi Jeka of Saint Paul, also many nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, John.
