Age 74, of St. Paul Park,died peacefully at home after a lengthy illness early Monday morning April 30, 2007.
Loving husband of Carolee for 52 years; father of Kevin (deceased), Cheryl (Steve) Salz, Corinne (Jim) Krueger and Kyle (Nicole) Hall; six grandchildren Lesley, Alexandra, Joe, Cullen, Morgan & Eryn; step-sister Gloria Tracy. He will be greatly missed by his extended family and friends.
Jim was born October 13, 1932 in St. Paul the son of John & Mabel (Anderson) Hall. He was raised in South St. Paul and graduated from South St. Paul High School. He served in the United States Army during the Korean conflict. He loved his family. Faith was an important part of his life. He enjoyed travel and boating. He will be remembered as a man who loved to tell jokes and truly cared about people.
Visitation 4-8 PM Wednesday May 2 at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove (651-459-2875) and 10-11 AM Thursday at church. Service of Thanksgiving 11 AM Thursday May 3 at ROSE OF SHARON LUTHERAN CHURCH, 6875 Jamaica Ave. (at 70th), Cottage Grove. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rose of Sharon re: accessibility.
