Jack Channing, age 63 of Cottage Grove, died Tuesday afternoon at Regions Hospital in St. Paul, Minnesota.
Jack Robert Channing was born August 16, 1949 in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Canada the son of Jack & Doris (Sinnott) Channing. He moved to the United States at the age of 13. Jack lived in California many years. He served in the United States Army during the Vietnam War. In 1987 Jack moved to Minnesota. He was an avid sports and news fan. Jack enjoyed walking his dogs. He had a great sense of humor.
Jack is the beloved husband of Linda; loving father of Robin, Michelle, and Tammy; twin brother of Gail (George) Galleberg; brother of Pamela (Patrick) Miller, Barbara (John) Walz.
He was preceded in death by his sister Merle; and parents Doris & Jack.
