Isabel Barnett

Isabel Barnett, age 95, a longtime resident of St. Paul Park, passed away peacefully at her home on March 2, 2018.

Funeral service will be 11 am, Thursday, March 8, 2018 at Kok Funeral Home, 1201 Portland Ave., St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will be at the St. Thomas Aquinas Cemetery.  Following the burial, a luncheon will be held at the St. Paul Park American Legion Post 98, 328 Broadway Avenue, St. Paul Park.

Isabel Helen Barnett was born November 27, 1922 and grew up in Inver Grove Heights and later moved to St. Paul Park.  She loved gardening and was often seen at garage sales and hosting one of her own.

Isabel is survived by her children Dennis Sr., Michael (Marcie Padgett), David and Wynette; many grandchildren and great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; nieces Mary Ellen Betzel and Diane St. Martin and Sharin Lascon; nephews Henry Betzel and William (Vicki) Hughes Sr., and long time family members Vicky Barnett and Margie Barnett.  Preceded in death by children Robert, Joyce and Richard.
