Iris Joan was born March 10, 1937 in Hallock, Minnesota the daughter of Clifford & Evelyn (Renville) Quiner. She was raised in Warren, Minnesota and graduated from Warren High School in 1955. On June 30, 1956 she married Darrel Theodore Johnson in Warren. Iris was a retired bank teller who had worked at Weels Fargo (formerly Norwest Bank) in South St. Paul. She was very active at the YMCA. She also enjoyed playing golf and traveling. Spending time with her grandkids was her passion.
Beloved wife of 50 years of Darrel; loving mother of Glen (Laura) of Dillon, Colorado, Gary of Inver Grove Heights; grandmother of Rachael, Abbie, Sarah, Gabe; sister of Jesse (Clarice) Quiner of St. Louis Park, Mae Range of Minneapolis; sister-in-law of Roseanne Driscoll; many nieces & nephews.
Preceded in death by parents Cliff & Evelyn Quiner; brother Ernie.
Funeral Service 10 AM Saturday at CHRIST UNITED METHODIST CHURCH, 2500 Hudson Pl. Maplewood. Interment Cottage Grove Cemetery. Visitation 4-8 PM Friday at KOK FUNERAL HOME, 7676 80TH St. S. Cottage Grove 651-459-2875 and 9-10 AM Saturday at church.
