Ione (Spencer)

Ione E. Johnson (Spencer), age 90, of Woodbury died peacefully on Wednesday, April 6, 2016 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born to parents, Raymond and Alvilda Paskewitz on January 24, 1926 in Clifford, North Dakota and spent most of her life in St. Paul. She enjoyed sewing, crafts, working with stained glass and sailing. She was also a former member of the VFW Post 6845.

Survived by sons, Alan (Alicia), Mike, Greg (Carolyn), Jeff (Phia), Joe (Gina), and Jon (Connie) Spencer; daughter, Jan Tacheny; stepson, Scott (Judy); 17 grandchildren; and 17 great grandchildren. Preceded in death by husband, Phill; granddaughter, Angela Spencer; parents; and siblings.

Memorial Service 4 PM, Monday, April 11, 2016 at Kok Funeral Home, 7676 80th St. S., Cottage Grove with visitation starting at 3 PM.
