And Grandmother
Age 84, of Newport, passed away peacefully at St. John's hospital in Maplewood on Monday April 25, 2011 surrounded by her loving family. Helen was born on August 20, 1926 in Janesville, Minnesota daughter of Harold Janke and Martha (Yonke) Faltersack. Helen married Milton Schlicht on July 10, 1946 in Chicago, Illinois. She enjoyed spending time with her family and cheering for the Minnesota Vikings. She is survived by four sons, James, Roger, David (Cathy), Steve (Holly); four daughters, Linda Schlicht, Wendy (Tim) Loun, Susan (Mike) Snyder, and Peggy (Kelly) Morris; one ½ sister Lavonne Schultz, twelve grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, Milton; one sister, Haroldine Stenvick; one ½ brother, George Faltersack Jr,; and two ½ sisters, Faye Kayne and Martha Pechmann. Funeral Service will be held at St. Andrews Lutheran Church, 1000 Portland Ave in St. Paul Park at 11:00 Wednesday (4/27) with visitation one hour before the service. Interment will follow at Newport Cemetery.
