Helen K.(nee Glass) Rickel, age 89, a long time resident of Newport, passed away peacefully on January 13, 2012.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am Saturday, Jan. 21, 2012 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Avenue, St. Paul Park, MN with visitation one hour prior. A private burial will be held at a later time.
She is preceded in death by husband, Robert; son, Raymond; parents, Frank & Elizabeth; sisters, Inez, Bonnie and Elayne; brothers, Neil, Truman and Leroy. She is survived by her children, Robert (Karen), Marlys, William (Shirley), Frank, Mary (Adolph) Kuhn, Dan (Coral), Teresa (Eric) Nielsen; 18 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; sister, Bette DiStasio; many nieces, nephews and friends.
The family wishes to express their gratitude for the wonderful care received at Regina Assisted Living in Hastings.
