Helen M. Petrowske, of Woodbury, who lived a long and full life passed away on May 10, 2018 at the age of 106.
Mass of Christian Burial will be 11 am, Thursday, May 17, 2018 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, Minnesota with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at the Resurrection Cemetery, Mendota Heights. Memorials preferred in lieu of flowers.
Helen Mary Petrowske was born November 22, 1911 in St. Paul, Minnesota to Henry and Victoria (Wampa) Raudzis. She grew up in South St. Paul where she attended school. Helen was married to Vincent Petrowske on October 24, 1930 in South St. Paul at St. Augustine Catholic Church. They owned and operated Lone Lake Kennel at their home property in Woodbury for over 30 years. In their younger years, they spent a lot of time at their lake home near Deer River where they did a lot of fishing and snowmobiling. She also enjoyed bowling, spending time outdoors and spending quality time with her family. Helen is a long time active member at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church.
Helen is survived by her son Charles; five grandchildren Lynn, Mark, Neil, Rae Ann, Lori; nine great-grandchildren Jillian, Bre-Anna, Sean, Luke, Jennifer, Ryan, Erica, Kathryn and Cole; six great-great grandchildren Lyla, Cooper, Levi, Charlie, Lucy and Hailey Jo. She is preceded in death by her husband Vincent and one infant daughter.
