Harry Borg Jr

Harry Eugene Borg Jr., age 73 of Cottage Grove, passed away unexpectedly on July 27, 2014 at Woodwinds Hospital in Woodbury.

Mass of Christian Burial will be 11:00 am, Thursday, July 31, 2014 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park with visitation one hour prior. Interment will be in the St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Cemetery in Hastings.

Harry Eugene Borg was born September 3, 1940 in Brainerd, Minnesota to Harry Sr. and Martha (Schmidt) Borg. He was educated in the public schools of Brainerd, Minnesota where he later graduated. Harry earned several certificates from the St. Paul Technical Vocational Institute in construction services. Harry enlisted in the Air Force to proudly serve his country. He worked in construction until he retired after 26 years in the business. After his retirement, Harry's spirit moved on to helping others. He shared his keen sense of humor with everyone he touched. He was the kind of person that once you met him, he was in your heart.

He is survived by his loving and caring wife of 46 years Jeanette; children Shawn and Marcia. He is preceded in death by his parents.
