Harold “Harry” Racine, age 87, of Cottage Grove, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 20, 2021 while surrounded by his loving family.

Beloved father of Kathleen Dockendorf, Mary (Fernando) Gutierrez, Lisa Racine, Jacquelyn (Brian) Arland, and Joseph; grandchildren, Jason, Tony, and Dustin (Katie) Dockendorf; Michael and Robert (Katina) Racine; Michelle (Greg) Lindsay; Jessica (Rand) Seay; Joseph (Jessica) Cropsey; Gabriel (Hannah) Madson; Thomas (fiancée, Alyssa Sherwood), Emily (fiancé, Cary Fleming), Madelyn and Jack Arland; Hannah (Patrick) Maloney, and Joseph Racine; great-grandchildren, Matthew Zins and Caleb Racine; Donovan and Khloe Dockendorf; Eloise, Reid, and Neal Seay; Everett and Caroline Lindsay; Kinley and Kace Marcantonio; and Hazel Maloney; brother, Richard (Angie); sister, Marceline (Terry) Hansen; brother-in-law, Michael (Rachel) Taylor; many nieces and nephews.

Preceded in death by beloved wife of 57 years, Patricia “Pat”; three sons, Baby Boy, Robert Allen, and Harold Thomas (Patti); granddaughter, Angela Gutierrez; parents, Harold and Bernice; father and mother-in-law, Howard and Agnes Taylor; sisters and brothers-in-law, Helen and Jim King and Shirley and Dick Towle; and sister-in-law, Rita Racine.

Harry was a loving husband, best friend to Pat, and a caring father for their eight children. He loved to spend time with his family, fishing, tinkering in the garage, and playing cards. He will be remembered as a social butterfly and an idea man.

Mass of Christian Burial 10:30 AM with visitation beginning at 9:30 AM, Monday, July 26, 2021 at St. Thomas Aquinas Catholic Church, 920 Holley Ave., St. Paul Park, MN, 55071. Interment with military honors at Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis, MN.
