Gwen Wuorenma, 71 of Newport, passed away peacefully in her sleep on Friday, May 25, 2007.
Gwen Wuorenma was born May 4, 1936 in Moline, Illinois, the daughter of Edward and Bernetta (Eddington) Kruse. She was united in marriage to Henry Wuorenma on November 26, 1955 in Almena, Wisconsin. The couple made their home in various locations while Henry served in the United States Air Force for many years. In 1968 they moved to Newport. Gwen had worked for the Park Grove Pet Hospital for many years and especially enjoyed animals, raising and showing dogs and horses. She was a very honest and caring person always giving and placing others first.
She is survived by her children; Eddy Ray (Janet) Wuorenma of Prescott, Wisconsin, Randy (Jackie) Wuorenma of Cottage Grove, Debra (Edward) Boughton of Newport, her grandchildren; Jennifer, Shannen, Jamie, Michael, Pamela, Blake & Kevin, her brothers; Ed (Beth) Kruse of Davenport, Iowa, Pat (Judi) Kruse of Afton, Kenny (Mary Jane) Kruse of Inver Grove Heights, Jerry (Dar) Kruse of Webster, Wisconsin.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Henry, her parents, Edward & Bernetta Kruse and her granddaughter, Kylinda
