Glenn Hogetvedt

Glenn Allen Hogetvedt, age 75 of Woodbury was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer on May 4, 2018 and passed away August 4, 2018.

A memorial service will be 12:00 pm, Thursday, August 9, 2018 at All Saint’s Lutheran Church, 8100 Belden Blvd. S., Cottage Grove with visitation one hour prior.  Interment will take place at the church columbarium following.  Memorials are preferred and may be directed to the All Saint's Lutheran Church or the American Cancer Society.

Glenn Allen Hogetvedt and his identical twin brother, Lynn, were born in Kirkland, Washington on July 8, 1943 to Carl and Frances.  The twins were premature and not expected to survive.  The young family returned to Hawley, Minnesota to be near relatives.

Glenn and Lynn attended elementary and high school in Hawley and graduated in May 1961.  Glenn served three years in the US Navy and later in the Army Reserve.

After being discharged from the Navy, he married Irene Hartke June 26, 1965.  Glenn graduated from Globe Business College with a degree in accounting.

Glenn and Irene have two daughters; Lisa Duscha and Lara Freyder.  They have four grandchildren; Marc Taylor, Sophi Cahalan and Cole & Quinn Duscha.
