Gladys M. Gilbertson

Gladys M. Gilbertson of Clarksville, was born on October 3, 1925 in Red Wing, Minnesota to Gudmund and Patronella Johnson.  She passed away on August 3, 2023, in Clarksville, Arkansas, at the age of 97.  She was of the Pentecostal faith.

She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Virgil Gilbertson; her son, Larry Alan Gilbertson; her sisters, Lucille Hutchson and Helen Boxrud; her brother, Gudmund Johnson, Jr. (Prisoner of Korean War); and her grandson, Mark Alan Minniear.

She is survived by her daughter, Judy M. Minniear of Clarksville, Arkansas; her grandson, Michael L. (Dawn) Minniear of Clarksville, Arkansas; her great-grandchildren, Steven Michael (Meagan) Minniear; Megan (Nathaniel) Corrons; Tyler (Kiowa) Minniear; her great-great-grandchildren, Mark Minniear, Trace Minniear, Everly Minniear, Chloe Minniear, Claire Minniear, Rhett Minniear, and Kate Minniear.

Visitation is from 5 p.m. until 6:30 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2023, at the Gracepoint Church in Clarksville, Arkansas.

Funeral Services are 7 p.m., Monday, August 7, 2023 at Gracepoint Church with Reverend Michael Minniear and Brother Ethan Martin officiating.  Burial will take place at Burnside Cemetery in Red Wing, Minnesota.  Pallbearers are Steven Minniear, Tyler Minniear, Rodney Holland, Rodney Long, Jarius Martin, and Preston Walton.

The funeral service in Minnesota will be held at 12:30pm at Kok Funeral Home (7676 80th Street South, Cottage Grove, MN) with visitation beginning at 11:00am on Wednesday, August 9, 2023.
